About us at the Island Queen Ferry to Martha’s Vineyard. Established over five decades ago, the Island Queen Ferry has been a trusted provider of ferry transportation to Martha’s Vineyard. It proudly stands as the exclusive passenger cruise ship that consistently traverses between Falmouth and Martha’s Vineyard. Operating as a seasonal passenger ferry (excluding vehicles), it runs from late May through mid-October, offering a serene 35-minute mini-cruise across Vineyard Sound.

Guests can indulge in our complete snack bar, unwind in the spectacular picture window lounge located forward, or bask in the sunlight on our outside decks with the assistance of our courteous crew. The Island Queen Ferry ensures a stress-free and seamless mode of transportation to Martha’s Vineyard.

Additionally, benefiting from two conveniently situated parking lots in close proximity to the ferry dock, guests are welcome to drop-off passengers and luggage before parking. Moreover, we offer ample space on board for bikes, kayaks, surfboards, and paddle boards, allowing visitors to bring along their preferred recreational equipment for an enriched experience on Martha’s Vineyard.
